Yungaburra can be accessed from the coast by 3 roads; from Innisfail by the Palmerston Hwy; from Cairns via Gordonvale by the Gillies Hwy; from Cairns via Mareeba by the Kennedy Hwy.
The shortest route from Cairns is the Gillies Hwy, however its' 200 corners are not suited to those subject to travel sickness.

The cottages are situated on Mulgrave Road next to the Catholic Church.
